At the Hunter Car Show I saw a Daimler XJC V12.

Moronically I didnt take a pic.

It was defintely appeared to be an original Daimler, was definately a V12, and an XJC.

Didnt take note of whether it was a S1 or S2...had chrome wheels.

Either way, this must be a very rare car ?

I didnt even know they had made them, and I own a Daimler VDP DDS S2

In coupe form, they made 1677 Daimler 4.2's, 407 Daimler Double Six & 1 Daimler Double Six VDP, so they're pretty rare.
All production coupes were Series ll, although one Series l prototype was manufactured and still survives today - it is held by a collector in Perth, Western Australia and has been verified by the factory as authentic.
It still has both the six & twelve cylinder wiring looms fitted as it was used to trial both engines at the factory.
I believe the single Daimler Double Six VDP coupe is held by a collector in Germany.

Different one I think.
The figures above are for the two door coupes and I think it's a different person Question
I think the owner's name of the German one is possibly Hans?
It's the only Daimler Vanden Plas coupe V12.
