In the 1960s I expect that was a lot of money then..

But if you had it, it could buy you the Limousine version
of the Mk10 and the 420G a few years later.

The Limousine was first produced from October 1965. Wink

MK10 4.2 Production Figures Arrow 18

420G Production Figures Arrow 24

For your money, the differences were:-

Arrow New design of Front seat where extra rear seat leg room was claimed - at the poor chauffeurs expense.

Arrow A sound proof division was incorporated in the back of the the front seats -with sliding safety glass panels.

Arrow Twin flush fitting writting tables.

Arrow A radio console

Do not confuse this with the Daimler DS420 Limousine a different car entirely Exclamation

Does anyone have any more information on the MK10 \ 420G Limousines Question

Or interior pictures showing the differences Question

Or even better is there car a RARE Limousine version Question

Circa 1994 I bought a set of "cross hatch" alloys for my XJ from a Jag breaker/dealer in the Maidstone area and he had a 420G limo (upstairs?) I remember looking over it as I hadn't seen one before; if I recall it was a dark colour- BRG?
