Don't know if anyone has noticed this but JLR has just bought a 543 strong British car collection which has 130 Jags, including Sir Williams Lyons' Mk10 and there's a 420G too.  Great news and I can't wait to see some of them.

I don't know if anyone is actually watching this but I've heard that Sir Williams Lyons' Mk10 might be at Browns Lane next week so I'm really hoping to get a look and hopefully some photos.

First time I've seen two Mk10s together.  Quite funny as I walked straight past the new lightweight E-type and a D-Type to go and have a look at these two.  One was Sir Williams Lyons' Mk10 4.2 with limo partition (GDU 333D)

..and the other is an earlier (and tidier) Mk10 3.8 (625 FGH) but with 420G chrome strips down the side.  I think this one was used to collect Ratan Tata in a day or two before.

Great images Graham thanks for sharing.

Anyone know any history to go with the SWL car?
