Mk 10 Limo + other stuff

I picked up the latest copy of the Australian Jaguar Magazine today and there is a for sale ad for one of the very rare Mk 10 Limousines once owned by Sir William himself.

And there was also a bit of a mention of me in there and my latest acquisition.

It does say something about the structural integrity of the Mk10 that it can be extended so much - as per the DS420 I guess.

I'm not fixated by the "Hannah Motors" car but just out of interest I wonder if this was it? Be a shame if this was it's fate.

Strange this is posted, I have been emailing Warwick (kiwimk10) about this car..

was there ever a company that made. extended body. limos. and. was there. a 2 door production. ive seen. a convertable. many yrs ago

well maybe...in "Jaguar MKVII to 420G" by Nigel Thorley page 139-140, it details that Uk Jag enthusiast Graig Hinton made at least a dozen convertibles, and others made custom stretch limos, 3 pictures are shown

I have recently been contacted by an owner of one..

He is fully restoring I will get some images up later, its in the netherlands
and the owner knows of two more out there !!
