I got to admit I smirked hearing the Poms whinge about getting done out of the medals in the mens cycling road race for which they were favored...they blamed the Aussies...and the Germans, for working against them.

The Poms had a carefully crafted peloton/sprint finish plan, and evryone worked against them to make sure it didnt work out that way.

I think England will have the last laugh in the medal count vs Oz though

I've watched a bit of swimming and a bit of the women's gymnastics which I like to keep up with.
Plus a bit of basketball.
The game between Australia & France (women) was a ripper.
