I saw a picture of one of these the other day.

After looking it I thought I'd never seen one advertised
or an article on one

Anyone know anybody who has owned one

Know how many were made

Who made them

Do you the where abouts of any

Or do you have any pictures to post

First up is a rather nice BRG convertible - I think it's been done really well and looks great. Don't know how it would look with the roof up but i think it's more balanced than the 4dr version

What do you think - you like it ?

Which do you think looks the best, the 2 door or the 4 door?

I have to say that I think the DK Green 420G conv is pretty stunning and works particulalry well because it's a 2dr.

From experience (read- grey hairs! lol!) cars like the Mk10 do go through a phase when they get chopped about, modified to extremes ( I recall, in my youth, seeing an XJ Series 1 fitted with an MGB engine).

Currently on Retro Rides there's a X308 being converted into a Phaentom; it's not quite my bag but you have to admire the tenacity and ingenuity and heh! it makes the world go around.

These Mk10 convertibles I believe fall into the same category. Craig Hinton converted these and may have done the MK10 stretch limo (as in Hannah Motors)

As ever Google throws up loads of pretty pics including the Dutch one being rebuilt.
